How to Use Yahoo! Calendar on an iPhone

Even if you have a busy lifestyle it is possible to manage it all with the free Yahoo! Calendar. The calendar includes an event scheduling feature, along with weather updates and to-do lists. If you own an iPhone, you probably take it with you wherever you go. It is possible to synchronize your Yahoo! Calendar with your iPhone so that your schedule is nearby and ready for viewing or editing when you need it.

Step 1

Power on your iPhone, and, from the main menu, tap the "Settings" icon. Touch "Mail."

Step 2

Tap "Contacts" and then "Calendars." If you already have a Yahoo! Mail account, click on the account listed and then turn the "Calendar Sync" option "On."

Step 3

Click on "Add Account" if you do not yet have a Yahoo! Mail account. Click "Yahoo!."

Step 4

Enter the requested information in the fields, such as your name, birth date and desired e-mail address. Click "Next" when finished. Click "On" under the "Calendar" service to complete the synchronization.

Tip

  • Using the "Fetch New Data" option, it is possible to set the iPhone to automatically sync with the Yahoo! Calendar. Set this option to "1 Hour" for best results.
