SD cards may be used in Motorola RAZR phones.

The RAZR is a cell phone manufactured by the Motorola Company. A popular clam-shell phone, the RAZR features a camera and a player for music files. While it comes with its own internal memory, the RAZR has the option of adding an additional SD card for extra memory. Music, images and other files may be stored on the SD card. You can use SD cards with a Motorola RAZR by following a few steps.
Step 1
Remove the battery cover on the back of the phone. Slide the SD card face down into the metal bracket. Replace the battery cover.
Step 2
View the SD card information. Press the center "Select" key and use the navigation arrow keys to highlight the "Settings" menu. Press the "Select" key again. Use the navigation arrow keys to highlight the "Phone Status" option and press the "Select" key again. Highlight the "Storage Devices" option and press the "Select" key. Scroll down and highlight the memory card. Press the "Select" button to view information about the SD card, including name and available memory.
Step 3
View files on the SD card. The following steps use digital image files as an example, but the same process applies to music, videos, voice notes, ringtones and wallpapers that are stored on your phone. Press the center "Select" key and use the navigation arrow keys to highlight the "My Stuff" option. Press the "Select" key. From the "My Stuff" menu, highlight and select the "Media Finder," "Pictures" and "All pictures" option. If the media is stored on the SD card, it will have a memory card icon next to it.
Step 4
Move or copy media files to the SD card. Access the file using the information in step 3. Highlight the file and press the "Options" soft key. Select "Manage" and then choose whether to "Move" or "Copy" the file to the memory card. Highlight the "Memory Card" option and press the "Select" key to move or copy the file to the SD card.
Step 5
Delete files from the SD card. Access the file using the information in Step 3. Highlight the file and press the "Options" soft key. Select "Manage" and then "Delete."
