How to Use Mac Mail on an iPod

If you own an iPod Touch, you can use the device's built in "Mail" application to constantly monitor your Mac.com email address anywhere you have a working Wi-Fi connection. Your iPod Touch will not recognize that you have a Mac email address automatically. You will have to manually input this information before you can check your account for the first time. This information input process only takes a few seconds.

Step 1

Tap the "Mail" icon on the main menu of your iPod Touch.

Step 2

Tap the "MobileMe" category listing. This will tell your iPod Touch that you want to setup a Mac email address on your device.

Step 3

Enter your Mac email address user name and password into the clearly labeled boxes using the virtual keyboard on your iPod Touch.

Step 4

Tap "Sign In." Your Mac email address inbox will appear where you can see any new messages you have recently received. To check your email address again at any time, simply tap the "Mail" icon again to go to your inbox.
