Facebook allows you to share many different aspects of your lives with your friends and social contacts. You can stick to the basics such as writing on each other's walls, or go further by posting links, writing notes and even sharing your pictures with your friends. You can create your own Facebook photo albums using pictures from your computer. Alternatively, you can upload one photo at a time. Your friends can then view these photos or albums, tag themselves or others in your photos and even make comments on your pictures.
Step 1
Direct your preferred browser to www.facebook.com and log in to the account on which you wish to upload your pictures.
Step 2
Click on the "Photo" link in the list of options directly below your "News Feed" header. This will give you three options: "Upload a Photo," "Take a Photo" and "Create an Album." Click on the "Upload a Photo" link.
Step 3
Click the "Choose File" button. This will open a new window that will display your photos. Navigate to your "My Documents" folder, click on the photo you wish to upload, then click "Open" to return to your Facebook page.
Step 4
Click "Share" to upload your photo to Facebook. This may take a moment or two depending on the size of your photo and your Internet connection speed.
Tip
- To create a photo album, click on the "Create an Album" link instead of the "Upload a Photo" link, then click on the "Select Photos" button. This will open a new window, where you can navigate to "My Documents." Select the pictures you wish to upload, then click "Open." This will open a new box asking you to give your album a name and location. Do so, then click "Create Album." Click "Publish Now" to share your new album with your Facebook friends.
