Picasa is an online photo sharing and editing application maintained by Google. When you sign up for a Picasa account, you can upload any picture from your hard drive, and then tag it with keywords so friends and other users can find your pictures. Uploading photos to Picasa is simple, and will only take a few moments.
Step 1
Log in to your Picasa account and click on the "Upload" button at the top of the screen. A new window will pop up.
Step 2
Select the "Create a new album" icon and create a descriptive title for the album. You can also add a description, date and location for your album. When you are finished, press "Continue."
Step 3
Press the "Choose File" button and select the file you want to upload from your hard drive. Then press "OK." You can upload up to five pictures at a time.
Step 4
Press "Start upload" at the bottom of the screen. You will see a status bar pop up. When the photos are uploaded, the status bar will disappear and you will be able to view them in your online album.
