A dialer program for your Apple iPhone allows you to call individuals without scrolling through your contact list. The dialer may allow you to voice call the individual (say the name into the phone and the phone calls) or give you shortcuts to calling the person. Whatever kind of dialer you are looking for, you can find it in the App Store for the iPhone. Once you find the dialer you want, upload it to your iPhone and begin using it.

Step 1

Plug the iPhone's USB cable into the port on the bottom of the iPhone, then connect the other end of the cable to a USB port on your computer equipped with iTunes. In a moment, iTunes launches automatically.

Step 2

Select "iTunes Store" from the left side of the program window. Once iTunes connects to the Internet, select the pull-down arrow next to "App Store" on the top of the program window. This reveals a wide list of app categories. Select "Utilities."

Step 3

Look through the list of utilities and select the dialer you want to use. Many dialer programs are available, including many free ones. Click "Download," and the dialer downloads to your computer.

Step 4

Select your Apple iPhone from the list of devices on the left side of the iTunes window. In the middle of the screen, a list of all the content available for your iPhone loads.

Step 5

Select "Apps," then check the box next to the dialer you just downloaded. Click "Sync" in the lower right corner of the program window.
