The Adobe Flash Player is an Internet based video player used by a variety of different movie sites. If you have video devices that run off of Adobe Flash and you are running into issues with the playback, it is because the Adobe Flash play is not up to date. This is especially likely when running older operating systems such as Windows XP. In order to update the device drivers and the video software you need to download the most up-to-date version of Adobe Flash to your computer.

Step 1

Open your Internet browser and make your way to the official Adobe site for the Flash Player software (see Resources).

Step 2

Click "Get Flash Player" and the download screen appears.

Step 3

Select "Agree and install now" and the software downloads to your computer.

Step 4

Double-click the downloaded program to launch the Adobe installation wizard. Select "Next" on the welcome page, then read through and accept the license agreement. Choose "Next" for both the installation name and location, then click "Install." The Flash player update installs on your computer and you are now ready to use all the device drivers and videos on your computer.
