How to Uninstall BlackBerry Applications

by Stephen Lilley

Uninstalling a BlackBerry application involves completely removing a program from your device. Like a computer, a BlackBerry can only hold so much information. Every application on your device takes up space on its storage drive. Uninstalling a BlackBerry application makes room for more applications or content like pictures and videos.

Step 1

Turn on your BlackBerry.

Step 2

Select the "Options" icon from your BlackBerry's main menu. From the menu of options that appears on screen, select "Applications."

Step 3

Highlight the name in the "Applications" menu of the application you would like to uninstall and select the "Menu" button on your BlackBerry.

Step 4

Choose "Properties" from the menu on screen. Select the "Delete" option. A box appears on your BlackBerry screen requiring you to confirm that you want to remove the selected application from your device. Select "Delete" again to uninstall your BlackBerry application.
