iTunes includes options that let you choose the photographs you want to sync to your iPod. It supports transferring photos and videos from a specific folder you select or from a supported image-editing program you have on your computer. To sync photographs from a specific program, you can select pictures from specific albums or events to sync to your device.

Step 1

Connect your iPod's cable to your computer and to your iPod, then open iTunes. Select your iPod under "Devices" on the left pane to view the "Summary" screen.

Step 2

Click "Photos" on the right pane's menu and select the check box next to "Sync Photos from." Select the program name from the drop-down menu, or select "Choose Folder" to manually add a picture folder. Select the folder that contains the photographs you wish to transfer and click "Select Folder." If you chose to sync an application, select the check box next to the collections you want to sync under "Albums" and events under "Events."

Step 3

Click "Apply" and "Sync" to transfer the photographs to your iPod.
