An iPod is a portable mp3 player on which you can store your music, photo and video collections. Although iPods are create by Apple, they are compatible with Windows computers. If you own a Windows computer, transferring music to your iPod Nano is quick and easy.

Step 1

Connect your iPod to your computer using an iPod USB cable.

Step 2

Launch iTunes.

Step 3

Click the iPod icon located in the left panel of iTunes.

Step 4

Click the "Music" tab that is located at the top of the main iTunes panel.

Step 5

Check the "Sync Music" box. Choose "Entire music library" to transfer all of your songs onto your iPod Nano. Choose "Selected playlists, artists, an genres" to manually choose the songs that you want to transfer.

Step 6

Click the "Apply" button.

Step 7

Click the "Sync" button. Your songs will now be transferred onto your iPod Nano.
