Like the other media on an iPod, videos can be found and added from a wide variety of sources. iPod videos are synced and transferred to the iPod the same way that music has been added to the classic iPod since it was introduced. Using iTunes, you can transfer all of your video and movie files in just minutes, making them instantly accessible on your iTunes screen.
Step 1
Launch your iTunes media player on your desktop and drag and drop any video files from your computer's library onto your main page iTunes library. The songs will appear when you click on the "Movies" tab in the player's left side main menu.
Step 2
Connect your iPod to your computer using the Apple USB cable and allow a few seconds for the device to connect to your iTunes.
Step 3
Select the "iPod" tab from the left side menu of your iTunes and click "Movies" in the main "iPod" menu.
Step 4
Click "Sync" to add your videos to your iPod. This may take a few minutes depending on the number of videos you are adding and the speed of your computer.
Step 5
Disconnect your iPod from your computer once the upper iTunes display reads "OK to disconnect." Your new videos will now be available on your iPod.
