Windows users with an Apple iPhone can sync data from the Microsoft Outlook application to their mobile device. The iTunes program controls all sync settings, and it supports the transfer of contacts and calendars from Outlook. After you set up Outlook syncing for the first time, iTunes will automatically update the data on your iPhone each time you connect it to your PC.
Step 1
Plug your iPhone into your PC using the iPhone USB cable.
Step 2
Launch the iTunes program if it does not open automatically.
Step 3
Click on the name of your iPhone from the Devices list on the left side of the window.
Step 4
Click on the "Info" tab at the top of the iPhone configuration window.
Step 5
Check the box next to "Sync contacts from" and then choose "Outlook" from the drop-down menu. You can choose to sync all of your Outlook contacts or only specific groups.
Step 6
Check the box next to "Sync calendars from" and choose "Outlook" from the drop-down menu. You can choose to sync all of your Outlook events or only specific calendars.
Step 7
Click "Apply" in the lower-right corner to save the settings and transfer your Outlook data to your iPhone.
