Sony designed its Internet LED television line with computer connectivity, allowing you to transform the television into a large computer monitor. You can perform the same computer functions when using the Sony television as you would on a monitor, such as checking email, browsing the Web and playing games. When using PC mode on a Sony LED Internet television, you can check TV programming through the picture-in-picture, or PIP, feature. With PIP, you can change the audio feed to the PC or the television. PIP is only available when the television is in PC mode.

Step 1

Press "Input" on your remote control, use the arrow buttons to highlight "PC," and then press the "+" button, which is located in the middle of the arrow buttons.

Step 2

Push "Options" on the remote control, then select "PIP." The PIP window appears on the screen.

Step 3

Press "CH +" or "CH-" to change the PIP channel. You can also enter the channel number directly by pressing the number buttons.

Step 4

Toggle the audio between the main screen and the PIP screen by pressing "Options" and selecting "Audio Swap."

Step 5

Close the PIP window by pressing "Options" and selecting "Exit PIP."
