Syncing a music player to iTunes for downloads is quite easy. Syncing is how you get the files from your iTunes library into your music player, making it possible for you to enjoy music and videos wherever you are.

Step 1

Connect your music player to your computer using a USB cord.

Step 2

Open iTunes. If your music player is an iPod, your iPod will show up in iTunes under the "Devices" list in the left column menu. If your music player is not an iPod, skip to step 4.

Step 3

Click your iPod name that is found under the "Devices" list. Click the "Sync" button in the bottom right corner, and your iPod will now be synced to iTunes. If you're not using an iPod, use the following step to sync your music player to iTunes.

Step 4

Open iTunes Agent, then click the iTunes Agent icon in the bottom right system tray of your screen. Right-click the iTunes Agent icon, and select "Synchronize devices." iTunes will now be synchronized to your music player.
