ITunes is a well-known application that stores and plays a variety of media files. Created by Apple, iTunes syncs the media to the iPod player as well as other MP3 players. You can easily use the iTunes application to transfer your favorite CDs to your iPod.
Step 1
Insert the CD into the CD drive of your computer.
Step 2
Launch the iTunes application.
Step 3
Click "Import CD" on the bottom right corner of the open iTunes application. ITunes will begin to rip the tracks off the CD and into your iTunes music library.
Step 4
Connect your iPod to the computer using the USB cable. The newly added songs will automatically sync to the iPod. In cases where the iPod does not automatically sync, select it from the "Devices" menu on the left side of the iTunes window and press the "Sync" button on the bottom center of the screen.
