Kodak printers require the spooler service to run in order to send print jobs from your computer to the printer. Errors in communications between your Kodak printer and computer cause jobs to freeze in the spooler, preventing other jobs from printing. If your Kodak printer becomes unresponsive or you receive a print spooler error, stop the print spooler to cancel the problem job and resume printing.
Type "run" in the "Search programs and files" search box.
Type "Net Stop Spooler" in the "Open" text box.
Wait for the command prompt window to disappear, signaling the spooler service has stopped.
Restart your Kodak printer to refresh the internal memory on the printer if you still encounter problems.
