Access to Microsoft's "Windows Live Messenger" text, video and audio chat network is now available to iPod Touch users that download and install the "Windows Live Messenger" iPod app. In addition, iPod Touch users must open a Windows Live account. Although the iPod version of the "Windows Live Messenger" application is sleek and straightforward, it's not so obvious how to perform simple tasks such as signing out. Log off from the iPod "Windows Live Messenger" app using the hard-to-find "Sign Out" link.

Step 1

Tap the "Social" icon at the bottom of the "Windows Live Messenger" app.

Step 2

Scroll to the top of the list that appears and tap on your "Windows Live Messenger" account picture.

Step 3

Scroll to the bottom of the menu that appears and tap "Sign out."
