How to Sign Into Facebook on the Samsung Sway

by William Pullman

The Samsung Sway slider cellphone, which was released on the Verizon network in 2008, has Internet capabilities, allowing you to browse websites, such as Facebook, when you're away from a computer. Though Facebook has released mobile applications for most smartphones, none of them work on the Samsung Sway as of 2012. You can still connect to your business's Facebook account on the Sway using the phone's Mobile Web application, which comes preinstalled on the phone.

Step 1

Slide open the Samsung Sway, and then press the up directional button.

Step 2

Highlight "Mobile Web" using the directional buttons and press the "OK" button. The phone connects to the Internet.

Step 3

Press the soft key button on the right to access your options. The soft keys are the two buttons with a "-" symbol on them, located below the screen.

Step 4

Select "Go To" from the options, enter "m.facebook.com" and press "OK." The mobile version of the Facebook website appears.

Step 5

Press the directional buttons to highlight the "Email" form field and enter your email address.

Step 6

Push the directional buttons to highlight the "Password" text box and enter your Facebook password.

Step 7

Press the directional buttons to highlight the "Log In" button and press the left soft key to log in to Facebook.
