When a wireless network is set up for you by an Internet provider, you are automatically given an email account to log in to. You can use this email account for both business and pleasure. However, you may find the need to create additional email accounts. This is often helpful when you have other individuals living in your home who need an email account also.

Step 1

Open your Internet browser and navigate to your Internet provider's email log-in website. Type in the current password and user name created for you when you first signed up for the wireless Internet from the provider.

Step 2

Select "Create New Email" after you are logged in to your account. A new page loads with your new email account instructions.

Step 3

Select a new user name and type in a new password, followed by your name and possibly your birthday. Click "OK," and you will be told if the user name is available. If not, you need to create a different user name.

Step 4

Submit the information, and you can begin using the new account from your wireless Internet network's provider.

Tip

  • You can create an email account through a wide assortment of different sites, including Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo. If you want to create an account with these sites instead, you can log in to one of those sites, select "Sign Up," then follow the same steps as above to create the new email account.
