The HP Pavilion laptop series includes a large number of features, such as integrated Bluetooth wireless networking, designed to provide users with convenience and high functionality. One common configuration is to use a mouse with the computer rather than the built-in touch pad. You can connect a mouse to your HP Pavilion using the integrated Bluetooth wireless feature included with the laptop.
Step 1
Click the "Start" button and click "Control Panel" in the menu that appears. Click "View Devices and Printers" link located under the "Hardware and Sound" label.
Step 2
Power up the Bluetooth mouse and press the "Connect" button on the mouse. Click the "Add a Device" link at the top of the "Devices and Printers" window. Click on the "Bluetooth Mouse" icon in the window and click the "Next" button.
Step 3
Click the "Close" button and then test to confirm that you can move the on screen cursor with the Bluetooth mouse.
