Gmail is a free email service provided by Google. One of the features of Gmail is that each time you email someone, that email address is automatically added to your contacts list. If you want to send an email to someone you have emailed before, you can click on the address in your Gmail contacts list.

Step 1

Visit gmail.com and log into your email account.

Step 2

Click "Compose Mail" to create a new email message.

Step 3

Click the "To:" button to open a list of your contacts in a pop-up window.

Step 4

Click on the drop-down menu to select a category of contacts. You can sort by "All Contacts," "Most Contacted," "Friends," "Family" or "Coworkers."

Step 5

Click on the name of the contact that you want to email. A green check will appear beside the contact, signifying that it has been selected. You can select more contacts or click "Done" when finished to return to your email.

Tip

  • If you have a long list of contacts, you can type the first few letters of the name or email address into the search bar of the contacts list to quickly locate a specific person.
