How to Save Pictures on the SIM Card on a Sony Ericsson Z520a

by Maya Walker

A quick and handy way to back up the pictures on your Sony Ericsson Z520a is to copy them to your SIM card. The original picture files remain on your phone and the copies reside on your SIM card, which you can access if you inadvertently erase a picture from the phone. The copied pictures travel with your SIM card, so if you get another phone, the pictures transfer when you insert the card into the new phone.

Step 1

Press the “Menu” key on your Sony Ericsson Z520a from the home screen. The phone's applications and tools are displayed in a list or as icons, depending on your settings.

Step 2

Click “File Manager” and then click “Pictures.” Scroll through the pictures until you locate an image you want to save on your SIM card.

Step 3

Click “More,” then click “Manage Files” and select “Advanced.”

Step 4

Click “Copy to SIM Card.” A confirmation message is displayed if the picture is successfully copied to your phone's SIM card. Repeat the process for the other pictures you want to copy to the SIM card.
