Really Simple Syndication is a channel used to update items such as radio feeds or blogs that may be frequently changed or updated. Saving an RSS feed to the memory stick used with the PSP (PlayStation Portable) allows you to access that channel more easily on other types of media. Only audio, video and photo RSS channels can be saved to a memory stick to be accessed later. RSS channels must be transferred to the memory stick using a PC, and cannot be transferred from the PSP.

Step 1

Insert the memory stick into the card reader on your computer.

Step 2

Download the RSS feed you want and save it to a folder on your desktop. You may wish to create a specific folder just for RSS feeds.

Step 3

Open the memory stick folder on your computer.

Step 4

Drag the RSS folder to the memory stick. The RSS can now be opened on the PSP next time you insert the memory stick into the PSP memory slot.

Tip

  • If your computer does not have a built-in card reader for memory stick format, a USB plug-in card reader can be purchased at most electronics stores.
