How to Save an Email Video to Real Player

by Will Conley

To save an emailed video to RealPlayer, you will first download and save the video to your computer's hard drive. Then you will add it to your RealPlayer library for convenient playback within RealPlayer. This allows you to quickly find the emailed video and view it anytime you wish - without having to rummage through your email inbox. Once you have done this once or twice, doing it again in the future will become second nature to you.

Step 1

Open the email containing the video wish to save to RealPlayer.

Step 2

Download the emailed video file to your computer's hard drive. Save the file to a location you will remember, such as your "Videos" folder in your computer's folder navigation program, or the Desktop.

Step 3

Launch RealPlayer.

Step 4

From the top menu bar in RealPlayer, select "Tools," and then "Add Files to My Library."

Step 5

Select the emailed video file you downloaded to your computer's hard drive, and click "Open". The video is now saved to RealPlayer.

Tip

  • You can select multiple videos from the same folder by CTRL-clicking them, and clicking "Open". All selected videos will be saved to RealPlayer.
