Netflix users have always been able to rent movies by mail and view them from the comfort of home. With an Internet-ready device, such as a gaming console or a PC, movies can be streamed instantly. It's a service that eliminates the concept of DVDs by mail. With a Netflix membership, you're just a few clicks away from an instant movie night.

From Your Netflix Device

Step 1

Turn on your designated Netflix viewing device.

Step 2

Search through the available titles.

Step 3

Select the title you wish to play.

Step 4

Choose the "Play" option to begin instant streaming.

From Your Online Account

Step 1

Log onto your Netflix account.

Step 2

Click the "Watch Instantly" tab located at the top of the page.

Step 3

Browse through available titles.

Step 4

Click "Play" to begin instant streaming.

Tip

  • Not all titles are available for instant streaming. The titles labeled "DVD Only" require an upgraded membership account and postal delivery. You can add movies to your instant queue from the online user interface.
