It's a simple process to rename a worksheet in Excel.

Microsoft Excel is a software program used to create spreadsheets and analyze data. This program allows users to create various spreadsheets within one Excel file. Each sheet within a document can be labeled to user preference. With a few clicks of your mouse, you can easily rename a worksheet.

Step 1

With the Excel program running on your computer, create a new document or open an existing file.

Step 2

Move the cursor to the desired worksheet name and double-click your mouse. This will highlight the name to be altered.

Step 3

Use your keyboard to type a new name for the active worksheet.

Step 4

Proceed to continue renaming worksheets as necessary.
