The Zen MP3 player is manufactured by Creative Technologies, LTD. The popular portable audio devices have internal flash memory which makes it easier to transfer audio and image files to the player using Windows Explorer. But to transfer video, users must download Creative Centrale, a file management software program similar to iTunes.

Step 1

Download and install the Creative Centrale software program. This program will transfer and convert your videos files to make them compatible for your Zen MP3 player.

Step 2

Connect the Zen MP3 player to the computer's USB port using the USB sync cable that came with the device.

Step 3

Open Creative Centrale if it is not already.

Step 4

Click on the "Video" icon tab (film strip) in the top-left corner of the software interface.

Step 5

Select the "Settings" icon (a silver gear) in the top-right portion of the interface.

Step 6

Select "Library," and then select the "Watch Folders" option. Under "Videos" browse your computer and find the video you want to download to your Zen player. Then click "OK."

Step 7

Click on the "Transfer" tab at the top of the interface. Select the device that the video will be transferred to.

Step 8

Select the "Transfer List" at the bottom of the interface to track download status. When the video file(s) have completely downloaded, the transfer list will be empty.
