Having the knowledge on how you can download YouTube videos to your PlayStation Portable allows you to watch your favorite YouTube videos without having to be online. The PSP is mainly used to play games, but it can also be used to watch videos. YouTube videos can't be downloaded directly. You need an additional website called KeepVid.com. This website allows you to download any YouTube video by using the video link.

Step 1

Go to "youtube.com" and find the video you want to download. Click the "address" text box on your browser. Press "Ctrl" and "C" to copy the address for this video.

Step 2

Type "keepvid.com" to access the website that will help you download the YouTube video. Click the text box next to "URL" and press "Ctrl" and "V" to paste it. Click "Download" next to the text box.

Step 3

Click "Download MP4" under "Download links" to start downloading the YouTube video. Go to the "Download" folder used by your Internet browser and you'll see the video file with an "MP4" extension.

Step 4

Turn on your PSP and scroll down to the "Settings" menu by pressing the "left arrow" on the PSP. Select "USB Connection" and press the "X" button.

Step 5

Connect your PSP to your computer using the USB cable provided with your PSP. Your computer should automatically detect your PSP. Press the "Windows" key and "E" to open Windows Explorer. You should see your PSP as a drive such as "S:" or "R:."

Step 6

Double-click the PSP drive and create a new folder named "MP_ROOT." Open this new folder and create a new folder named "100mnv01." Copy the YouTube video you downloaded into this folder.
