How to Put a Music Video in MP4

When you get music video files from websites on the Internet, they could be in a wide range of video formats such as WMV or AVI. The problem comes when you want to play this music video on your MP4 player. Before you can use it on that player, you must put your music video in MP4 format first. The best way to do this is with conversion software.

Step 1

Download a conversion program that enables you to put your music video into MP4 format. One example is Format Factory. Click "download now" once you're on that program's page.

Step 2

Click "OK" or "save as" to accept the download. Install the program by opening the installation file you just got on your computer.

Step 3

Open the program when you're ready to convert. This should happen automatically if you just installed it. Click on the "video" tab and then hit the button marked "All to MP4." A window will appear where you can then press the "add file" button.

Step 4

Find your music video in the new browser window that appears. Double-click it, and then select "OK" in the previous screen. You'll now be back in the main screen. Click "Start" at the top of the program screen to begin transferring your file into the MP4 format.
