There are games available for all ages.

One popular update on the iPod touch is its ability to play games. Its specs can support any app that the iPhone can, although of course it can't make calls or use a few other types of apps. For gaming they are essentially the same device, so if you see someone playing a game on their iPhone you can download it for your iPod touch. Games can be expensive, and the iTunes store always has some free apps and games available for download.
Step 1
Open iTunes and click on "iTunes Store." On top you'll see a number of tabs; choose "Apps Store."
Step 2
Click on "iPhone" -- remember that the games are the same -- and scroll down until you find free games. All games say "Games" right underneath them for clarity. If you hold your mouse over the game a button "Free" will appear to the left. Click to download to iTunes.
Step 3
Plug in your iPod to automatically sync the games. If the sync doesn't happen, click on your iPod touch in the iTunes menu and choose "Apps" from the top tabs. Click "Apply" to set the iPod to automatically sync games.
