Synergize your social media tools by hooking up your website with a Facebook logo. With its Badges feature, Facebook makes it easy to link your website and your Facebook page. If you have a business that has both a standard website and a Facebook page, for example, posting a badge on your website that links to your Facebook page can help get more fans for the page. Similarly, if you want more Facebook friends for your personal profile, try posting a profile badge to your personal blog or website.
Step 1
Go to the Facebook Badges website at facebook.com/badges.
Step 2
Choose the badge you want for your website. Options include the Profile Badge, which shows your Facebook profile photo and links to your personal profile; the Photo Badge, which shows your Facebook photos; the Like Badge, which displays Facebook pages you like; and the Page Badge, which displays information for a page of which you're an administrator.
Step 3
Choose the type of site the badge will be added to. If you created your website using Blogger or TypePad, you can add the Facebook feature via a widget; if you use another blogging or website service, you will be directed to the raw HTML code for the badge.
Step 4
Copy and paste the HTML code into the spot in your website's HTML where you want the Facebook badge to appear. Save and/or upload the page as usual.
