The Rumor is a cell phone manufactured by LG for use with the Sprint network. Similar to phones from other manufacturers and on other networks, Rumor has features such as a digital camera and slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The phone may also be used as a digital music player using Sprint Music Manager. The music may then be organized by various categories, including album title, by following a few steps.
Download the Sprint Music Manager application to your computer. Launch a Web browser and go to the download site. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the download. Launch the application and accept the associated licensing agreements.
Add the desired music files to Music Manager. Click "Add Music" to open a separate pop-up window. Click "Full Search" and identify music file types that you want to search for by clicking the boxes associated with them. The supported file types are MP3, WMA, MP4, and WAV. Click "Search."
Select the music files that you want to transfer to your phone. Click once on a file and drag it to the "Music Transfer List" on Music Manager while holding down the mouse button. This section is near the bottom of the Music Manager window. Repeat this process for each file that you want to download.
Sort the files that you want to transfer by album name. Click once on the "Album" header at the top of the "Music Transfer List" on Music Manager to sort them alphabetically. To sort them in reverse alphabetical order, click the "Album" header again. To arrange the files by album in any other type of order, rearrange the files by highlighting them one at a time and moving them within the "Music Transfer List" while holding down the mouse button.
Connect the USB cable to the Rumor then to the computer. Click "Transfer Now" on Music Manager to transfer the music files in the order that you arranged them.
