How to Open Norton Internet Security

Norton Internet Security is a computer security program that protects your computer against viruses, spyware, spam and other online threats. If you have this program installed on your computer and need to open it to edit the settings, it only takes a few clicks of the mouse to do so.

Step 1

Start your computer and log in to your operating system.

Step 2

Wait for background programs to load.

Step 3

Look in the system tray for a yellow circle icon that, when you hover over it, says "Norton Internet Security."

Step 4

Right-click on the yellow circle icon and select "Open Norton Protection Center." If you don't see the yellow circle icon, click on the "Start" button, open "All Programs" and open Norton Internet Security from its program folder.
