Internet Explorer (IE) is a Web browser that enables you to browse the Internet for your favorite content. IE supports full screen mode--a browser feature that enables you to enlarge your browser window and fill the entire screen. Full screen mode disables the Status Bar, Title Bar and Windows Task Bar and compresses all the remaining toolbars so you have more browsing space.

Step 1

Click the Windows "Start" menu and click "Internet Explorer" to launch your Web browser.

Step 2

Click the "File" menu located on the top of your browser window. Click "New Window" to launch a new Internet Explorer window. Alternatively, you can launch a new window by pressing "CTRL" and "N" together.

Step 3

Maximize your new IE window. Press "F11" to launch the new IE window in full screen mode. Alternatively, launch IE full screen mode by clicking the "View" menu on the top and clicking "Full screen." To exit out of full screen mode, press "F11" again.
