Comcast offers cable TV, high-speed Internet and phone service. Subscribing to Comcast Internet allows you access to Comcast.net, a website that offers personal email. Comcast's personal email can only be accessed with a chosen password. Although Comcast emails may be secure, it may be possible for your email to be hacked. If this occurs, you can get a new password to access your email once again.
Go to the Comcast website. Click "Sign In" located in the upper right-hand corner.
Locate "Forgot your username or password?" toward the bottom of the screen. Click "Password."
Enter your Comcast ID or email and enter the security code shown. Click "Next."
Answer the security question. Enter your zip code. Click "Next."
Enter a new password. Passwords must be 8 to 16 characters long and contain one upper case letter, one lower case letter and a number or other special character.
Click on "Customer Central" at the bottom of the page. Sign in with your new password.
Locate "Users & Settings" on the horizontal navigation bar. Click "Change Password/Secret Question." Click a different secret question and answer it. Click "Submit."
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Contact Us." From the "Contact Us" page, locate "Contact Comcast Customer Service." Click "Live Chat" to talk to a customer service representative. Chat with a Comcast customer service representative if you're unable to retrieve your log in information. The representative will verify your identity and help you log in to your account.
