Your Samsung Intercept phone helps you customize your contact list to best meet your needs, allowing you to import contact lists, create custom data fields and select favorite contacts that you use most frequently. You can have as many favorite contacts as you like, which can make locating and communicating with them much more convenient. A favorite contact is not the same as a contact on speed dial, so the favorites list can be helpful for quickly reaching someone by phone, email or any other method on your phone.

Step 1

Press the "Home" button on your Intercept phone to reach the Home screen. This button has the icon of a house on it.

Step 2

Tap the "Phone" app. This is the app with an icon that is blue with a phone in it. By default, the Intercept has this app on the Home screen, but if you've removed it, you can still find it by tapping the grey applications tab at the bottom-center of the screen and then tapping the "Phone" app within that tab.

Step 3

Tap "Favorites" to display all of the contacts you've marked as favorites.

Tip

  • You can easily add or remove a contact from favorites by tapping the contact entry in your contacts list. If you tap the star that is to the right of the contact's name, it will alternate its color between gold and grey. Gold indicates it is marked as a favorite, while grey indicates it is not a favorite.
