Although the BlackBerry brand is known for its business-friendly products, other features of the smartphones allow you to do much more. The BlackBerry Curve offers the standard tools to check your email, make calls and text, as well as perform an array of other multimedia functions, such as play video and surf the Internet. You can load your favorite video files quickly onto a BlackBerry so you can watch them wherever you go.

Step 1

Attach one side of the USB cable into the mini-USB port located on the side of the BlackBerry Curve. Insert the opposite side into an open USB port on your computer.

Step 2

Tap the "Options" icon while in the Home screen of the BlackBerry. Tap the "Mass Storage Mode Support" or "Media Transfer Protocol" option. Press "Menu" and "OK." Your BlackBerry is now ready to receive the video file.

Step 3

Open the folder that contains the video file you want to load onto the Curve. Click "Start" and click "Computer." Double-click the "BlackBerry Curve" entry to access the phone's internal memory.

Step 4

Drag the video file from the folder on your hard drive to the Videos folder in the BlackBerry window. The transfer process for the video commences.

Step 5

Right-click the BlackBerry icon after the transfer is complete and click "Eject."
