The Apple iPod is one of the portable media players on the market and has revolutionized the way people listen to their favorite artists. Aside from syncing music, many iPods are capable of syncing digital images. If you're interesting in transferring images from a digital camera to an iPod, you can transfer the pictures to your computer and use iTunes to sync the saved images to your portable media player. You can download the latest version of iTunes free on Apple's official site.
Transfer Images to PC
Connect the mini end of your camera's USB cable into your camera and connect the opposite end of the USB cable into a USB port on your PC. Your camera should turn on automatically. If your camera doesn't turn on, press the "Power" button on your device.
Go to "Start" and open "My Computer." Your digital camera is listed in the Devices With Removable Storage section.
Double-click on the camera icon to access files that are saved on your device. A list of folders appears on your screen. Depending on the amount of pictures you have stored on your camera, your pictures may be stored in separate folders.
Select the images you want to copy to your computer. Press "Ctrl" and "A" if you want to select all of the images in a specific folder.
Press the "Alt" key to open the Windows toolbar. Click on the "Edit" tab and select the "Move to Folder" option. The Move Items dialog box appears on the screen.
Locate and open the folder you want to use for the file transfer. If you want to create a new folder for your images, click on the "Make New Folder" button. After selecting a destination folder, click "Move." Your pictures are transferred to your selected folder.
