Use iTunes to copy music to your iPod.

Apple has revolutionized the way we listen to music on the go since the debut of the original iPod in 2001. Since then, a handful of different versions of the iPod have been released, and other manufacturers have come out with MP3 players to compete in the market. iPod are easy to use, and adding your favorite music, photos and videos to your iPod is a simple process using the iTunes program.
Step 1
Connect your iPod to the computer using the USB cable that came with your device.
Step 2
Click on "Music" under the Library section on the left sidebar of the iTunes window.
Step 3
Click on the song in your music library that you wish to add to the iPod.
Step 4
Drag and drop the song onto the iPod listed under the Devices section in the left sidebar.
Step 5
Verify that the song is successfully being added to the device by checking to see if it is syncing in the iTunes action window above the Library.
Tip
- To add a song to a playlist on your iPod, drag and drop the song onto the created list on your device.
- Hold down the "Shift" key and click on songs in your iTunes library that you wish to add to the device. This will allow you to drag and drop more than one song at o time onto the iPod.
Warning
- Allow your iPod to fully sync or your changes may not take effect.
