The BlackBerry Curve is known for being a popular business smartphone, and one of the main reasons for this is how easily it synchronizes work and personal email accounts on the device. Users with synchronized email accounts can send and receive emails on their Curve. While setting up email on a BlackBerry Curve may seem very difficult to a first time BlackBerry user, the process is actually fairly straightforward thanks to BlackBerry's mail account system.

Step 1

Select the "Set-up" icon on your BlackBerry Curve's main screen.

Step 2

Select "E-Mail Settings."

Step 3

Select "Create New Account" on the "E-Mail Setup" screen that appears and follow the prompts to create the account. If you already have a BlackBerry mail account, then log in with it.

Step 4

Type in the email address and password for the account you want to set up on your BlackBerry Curve. Click "Next."

Step 5

Click "Add Additional Account" and repeat the process for any other email accounts you want to set up on the BlackBerry.

Step 6

Click "Finish" to complete the email setup process.
