The Internet Explorer Developer toolbar provides several benefits to web developers. These benefits range from the capability to view the programming code behind web pages to the capability to disable some Internet Explorer settings. The Internet Explorer Developer toolbar can be installed in a short amount of time.

Step 1

Visit the Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar page in the Microsoft's Download Center.

Step 2

Click the "Download" button. This will take you to another page with more information about the product.

Step 3

Click the "Start Download" link if download does not begin automatically. A "Save As" dialog box will appear. Choose a location to save the file and click the "Save" button.

Step 4

Go to the location where the file was saved and double-click on it. An "Open File---Security Warning" dialog box may pop up. Click the "Run" button. Click "Next" on the Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar dialog box.

Step 5

Click the "I Agree" radio button for the license agreement and click "Next." Select a folder where the installer can install the Explorer bar files. Click "Next."

Step 6

Click "Next" to confirm installation. The installer will begin installing the program. This process will be complete in a few seconds. Click "Close."
