The Motorola Q features Windows Mobile 5.0 and a full keyboard. It has a miniSD card slot that allows you to add multimedia files to your device, and a one-megapixel camera that supports video recording. If you start to have stability problems with your phone or have problems with freezing, perform a hard reset. A hard reset erases all of the settings and programs you have configured, and restores the phone's operating system to its factory default.

Step 1

Charge your Motorola Q or connect it to its charger before proceeding. Turn off your phone and turn it back on.

Step 2

Press the navigation pad's center button for five seconds as your phone starts up.

Step 3

Select "Yes" when your phone asks if you wish to perform a master reset. The restoration process begins automatically.
