Your LG Ally smartphone allows for comfortable texting via its tactile QWERTY keyboard that slides out from under the touchscreen. Along with the ability to text quickly and efficiently, you can also forward your SMS, or Short Message Service, messages to others. Keep in mind that like normal text messages, there's a 160-character limit to a forwarded text.

Step 1

Power on your LG Ally and navigate to the home screen.

Step 2

Tap the "Messages" app.

Step 3

Scroll through your conversations until you find the one that contains the message you want to forward. Touch the conversation to open it.

Step 4

Scroll through the conversation until you find the text message you want to forward. Hold down your finger on the message for a few seconds until a menu appears, and then select the "Forward" option.

Step 5

Place your cursor in the "Send To" field by touching it. Select the contact you want to send the text message to, or enter a phone number manually using your keyboard.

Step 6

Press the "Send" button on the touchscreen to forward the message.
