Windows Media Player has many functions. It not only plays media, it can also sync media such as video to many different types of MP3 players (excluding iPod and iPhones). To transfer videos to a MP3 player using Windows Media Player, you need to first make sure the video is compatible with your portable audio device. For example, some players will only play MPEG-4 videos. To find out more about what video files are compatible, you should consult your user manual.
Step 1
Open Windows Media Player.
Step 2
Click the "Sync" tab.
Step 3
Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using the device's USB sync cable.
Step 4
Select the down-facing arrow, and select the category "Videos" from the drop-down menu.
Step 5
Click the video you want to sync to your MP3 player from the lists of videos found on your computer.
Step 6
Drag and drop that video from the list on the left-side of the software window to your "Sync List" on the right side of the software window.
Step 7
Click "Start Sync." Your video will sync to your MP3 player.
