How to Download Music on a Creative Zen Nano

The Creative Zen Nano is a small MP3 player that is able to store your audio tracks and movies on its 512MB internal memory. The Zen Nano is able to play back MP3 and WMA audio tracks. Furthermore, the device can handle DRM (Digital Rights Management) files. Downloading music on the Creative Zen Nano is straightforward because Windows 7 is able to detect and use the device without requiring additional software.

Step 1

Connect the Creative Zen Nano MP3 player to your computer using the supplied USB cable.

Step 2

Click the Windows Start button and choose "Computer" from the menu to open Windows Explorer.

Step 3

Navigate to the folder that contains the audio tracks, select the tracks and press "Ctrl-C" to copy them to the clipboard. Hold "Ctrl" and click multiple files to select them or press "Ctrl-A" to select all files in the folder.

Step 4

Select the drive assigned by Windows 7 to your Zen player. The drive is usually named "My Zen."

Step 5

Open the "Music" folder and press "Ctrl-V" to transfer the music from the clipboard to the MP3 player.

Step 6

Disconnect the Creative Zen Nano player from your computer.
