Plug your iPod in and let iTunes do the rest.

Copying your files from one computer to another can be a real pain, especially if you have an extensive music collection. But if you have the same iTunes collection on your iPod that was on your old computer, this process can is pretty basic. ITunes provides a simple, automatic transfer system that can copy music from your iPod to your new computer with just a click of a button. These steps apply to all models of iPod, as well as the iPhone and iPad.
Step 1
Install iTunes onto your new computer. Launch the software once it has completed downloading. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by the Setup Assistant. Sign into your existing iTunes account.
Step 2
Connect your iPod to your computer using the data transfer cable that came with it. Once your computer has detected your iPod, it will appear under the "Devices" menu in the left sidebar. A pop-up window will appear that reads "The iPod is synced with another iTunes library...What would you like to do?"
Step 3
Click the "Transfer Purchases" button within the pop-up window. This will copy all music from your iPod into the iTunes library on your new computer.
