Creative Zen is a line of portable video and audio players that are compatible with MP3 and WMA files. You cannot play DVDs on the Zen players. However, if you have copies of the DVD stored on a computer, you can convert it to the Zen format to download onto the Zen. You will need to download conversion software specific to the Zen to do so, but free downloads are available online.
Step 1
Download and install a Creative Zen software conversion application onto the computer (See "Resources").
Step 2
Launch the Creative Zen conversion software application. Locate a copy of the DVD on the computer that you wish to download.
Step 3
Select the "DVD" option from the conversion software. Select the "DVD to Video" option and select the "Mobile Device" option.
Step 4
Select the "Output Setting" option that is listed for the Creative Zen. Click "OK" or "Save" to start the conversion process.
Step 5
Attach the Creative Zen to the computer by connecting one end of its USB cable to the Zen's USB port and connect the other end of the USB cable to the computer's USB port.
Step 6
Click "Open" to open the Creative Zen icon once the computer recognizes the device connection. Click on and drag the DVD files you just converted into the Creative Zen icon. Wait for the transfer or transfers to complete.
