Although Internet Explorer 7 isn't the most up-to-date browser from Microsoft, you may like it better than the latest releases. If this is the case, you can downgrade. Before doing so, though, you must download Internet Explorer 7. If you attempt to remove the current version of IE before downloading an older one, you might find yourself without a browser.

Step 1

Launch your browser and navigate to the Internet Explorer 7 download page. (There is a link in the Resources section. Download it.

Step 2

Click the "Start" button, followed by "Control Panel." Click "Add or Remove Programs."

Step 3

Scroll through the list of programs and find "Internet Explorer." Select it, then click "Remove." Click "Yes" to confirm.

Step 4

Launch the IE7 installer you downloaded. Follow the on-screen prompts.
