Spyware is a type of malicious software that can be installed on your computer without your knowledge. It is designed to track your online activities and steal information such as passwords and credit card numbers. Your computer can be infected with spyware through software downloads, popup windows and fake virus protection programs. Spyware Stormer is camouflaged to make you think it is protecting your computer when in fact it is malware. By following a series of simple steps, you can remove this spyware from your computer and protect your data.
Click the "Start" button on your desktop and select "Control Panel."
Double-click "Add or Remove Programs." Scroll down, highlight "SpywareStormer" and then click "Uninstall."
Press "Ctrl-Alt-Delete" to launch the Windows Task Manager window. Click the "Processes" tab. Scroll down to "Sypywarestormer.exe," highlight this entry, and click "End Process" to terminate the spyware process on your computer.
Click "Start," type "Program Files\security iGuard" in the Search box and look for the location of the folder in the search results. Delete the folder and everything in it.
Empty your recycle bin and then restart your computer. Spyware Stormer has been removed.
