How to Delete a MySpace Url Box

by Jacqui Lane

On the social networking website MySpace, your MySpace URL is a short custom web address that appears in a box beneath your contact options. Your MySpace URL provides an easy-to-remember way for friends to find their way back to your profile. If you don't like the way the URL box looks on your page, you can remove it by editing your profile.

Step 1

Visit MySpace and log into your account.

Step 2

Click "Edit Profile."

Step 3

Paste the following code into the text box labeled "Who I'd Like to Meet."

<style type="text/css">.userProfileURL { display:none; }</style>

Step 4

Click "Save Changes." The box containing your MySpace URL will no longer appear on your profile page.

Tip

  • This process doesn't apply if you have a Myspace profile version newer than Profile 1.0.
